So I discovered today that town government is not all that great. I got a letter in the mail telling me that there would be a vote on taking of land on my road next Tuesday. Ok. Didn't we already do this a month ago? Hmm, there is also a meeting in the street with town officials tomorrow. That's weird - they didn't do that last time.

I went down to Town Hall today just in case I was affected by this "taking." We're affected all right - all 5,610 square feet of it (0.13 acres for those of you who care). I walked out of the office after telling everyone there that I am moving now, cried a little bit in my car, and then went home. So I won't rant about it like my last post, but I am getting more and more disillusioned with things these days.

I'll fight the fight, but I know that the outcome is most likely not one that I will like.
